Welcome to Whitebridge Farm
Whitebridge Farm Holiday cottages are set in a peaceful rural location on the borders of Dorset and Wiltshire and are ideally placed for enjoying a family touring holiday.
Set in 10 acres, the cottages are grouped around an attractive grassed courtyard which were once stables and barns for the farmhouse built by Lord Grosvenor. Old beams have been retained throughout the cottages wherever possible and most of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities for added comfort.
Both the South Wiltshire and Dorset cycle ways pass nearby and there are numerous way marked walks to choose from, including Gold Hill, with its spectacular views.
Many historic houses and family attractions are in the area, including Stourhead, Wardor and Sherborne Castles and Longleat. The cottages are centrally positioned between Bath, Cheddar, Salisbury, Bournemouth, Poole and Sandbanks. The beautiful Jurassic coastline is within easy reach with Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.
Weymouth is another great day out and a fine resort for fishing, sailing, swimming and sunbathing. The caves and gorge at Cheddar are most impressive, while Stonehenge, now recognised as a world heritage site, is within 20 minutes. The ancient Avebury Stone Circle is also close-by.
Occupy the children here in the dedicated childrens’ play area. From summer 2014 children will also be welcome to help with egg collecting.
The village shop and pub are within a mile and there are many dog friendly pubs serving food and offering outdoor eating and children's play areas.
Well behaved pets are welcome at a small charge.
We have 9 cottages in 1,2 and 3 bedroom layouts in both single and two storey as well as varying styles.
To us, Whitebridge Farm is not just holiday cottages, it is our home and we hope to welcome you here soon to enjoy some of the most beautiful countryside in the country.
